Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Family Assistant, a small, independently run app for coordinating family life. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: yan@rateof.ru.

The service

Family Assistant lets a family share shopping lists, tasks, a calendar, kids' pocket money and a weekly meal plan, on the web and through optional Telegram, Google Calendar and Yandex Alice integrations. The app is currently free. Features may change as it develops.

Your account and family

• Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Parents manage their family: they invite members, add children, and connect integrations. A parent who adds a child confirms they are that child's parent or guardian, or have their consent.
• Everything you add is visible to the other members of your family.

Your content

What your family adds stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to your family — and, where you connect them, to send it to Google Calendar, your Telegram group or Yandex Alice — only so the app works. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.

Acceptable use

Don't use Family Assistant to break the law, to harass anyone, to store content you have no right to, or to attack, overload or probe the service or other families' data. We may suspend accounts that do.

Third-party services

Google Calendar, Telegram and Yandex Alice are run by their own companies under their own terms. If one of them changes or stops working, the related feature may stop working too.

Pocket money

The budget tab is a record-keeping tool. It does not hold, move or pay out real money.

No warranty

We work to keep Family Assistant reliable, but it is provided "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. Keep anything important — like key dates — somewhere else as well.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by outages, data loss, or third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using Family Assistant at any time and ask us to delete your data by emailing yan@rateof.ru. We may end the service; if we do, we'll give families reasonable notice to save their data where we can.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update this page and its date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
